Live Girls! annual festival of ten-minute plays was created with the devilishly
simple idea of exposing you to as many women playwrights as we possibly could

Live Girls! is happy to present West Coast Premiere Production of this
"slapstick tragedy". Four adult actors are children playing house in war torn
Belgrade. Widely celebrated in Europe this play explores "the intergenerational
impact of violence" through vaudeville, slapstick and absurdism.
Holiday XXX • December 3rd-11th Fri, Sat, Mon 8pm. Sun 2pm.
For the 3rd year in a row Live Girls! will set up a very naughty little experiment for
the holidays. We create 4 characters and assign them to 3 writers who have
1 month to create a one-act play. Three directors will then direct 4 actors in each of
the 4 pieces.
Art Walk Cabarets • First Thursday of EVERY month.
Doors open by 6pm and shows are at 8pm and 9:30pm
Every first Thursday, Live Girls! picks a theme, packs in all the talented ladies
we can fit into one night and hilarity ensues. Comedy, music, improv, chick fights,
skits, readings, new talent, trusted favorites, fine fine prizes and a big wall you can
paint on yourself. How could you possibly miss it?
Free! Donations lovingly encouraged.
Baker's Dozen Series • April 23rd. July 16th. August 13th (Teen Edition).
Shows at 8pm and 10pm.
Take 1 outline for a play. Chop nicely into 4 equal pieces. Distribute 1 piece to
each writer. Let rise. Place on sheet and cook over 4 actors.
Allow directors 1 evening each to carefully ice one of the four pieces.
Ready in 13 days start to finish.
