series of new work readings.
This hand picked crop of up and coming juicy
new plays is an all you can eat buffet of exciting new theater.
Last years participants moved on to full
productions at Live Girls! and NEA/TCG grants.

Playwrites-
Dorothy Lemoult is a native of
Brittany, France. Her play Proceed was recently
produced in Live Girls! Quickies Vol. 6.
Dorothy is a graduate from Cornish Colllege of the Arts' Original Works
program and is currently writing under the mentorship of Amy Wheeler in the
Kick Ass WomenÕs Playwrights workshop. She is a proud company member of Live
Girls! Theater.
Dickey Nesenger received her MFA in
Creative Writing through Goddard College. She worked for seventeen years
in Los Angeles as a script supervisor and screenwriting before turning her
attention to theatre. Her plays have been produced in Boston, New York,
Los Angeles and Seattle. This year, her short play, The Greenlake Monster
was a finalist for the Theatre of LouisvilleÕs Heineman Award.
Kitty Chen was born in
Shanghai, China and raised near Philadelphia. She is the recipient of
playwriting fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, Emerging
Playwrights Award, amongst others. She is a member of Dramatists Guild, WomenÕs
project and the three actorsÕ unions. Her plays have been produced by
Playwrights Theater of NJ, WomenÕs Project, West Side Theater, QueenÕs Theater
in the Park.
Jaqueline Hamilton is a Junior at
Franklin High school, Seattle, and took part in ACTÕs Young PlaywrightÕs
Program in 2004.
Zoe Fitzgerald is a native of New
York. She is the Associate Artistic Director and Literary Manager for Live
Girls! She created the script for Live Girls! educational tour and tribute Notorious
Women.
This winter she will be working with Babes Network a non-profit organization
that provides support for HIV-positive women and Theater for Development
teaching artist Caroline Brown to create an original performance piece.
Adrienne Dawes graduated from Sarah
Lawrence College in 2004. She currently resides in Austin, and is an associate
member of Austin Scriptworks. Her plays have been produced at Off My Back
Theatre Productions; Revolving Stages; Riant Theatre's Strawberry One Act
Festival; REJOTI Productions; American Repertory Theatre of London, Little Fish
Theatre Company, Stormy Weather Players, New England Academy of Theater, and
published by Playscripts, Inc and Smith + Kraus.
Live Girls! is a
theater dedicated to producing and developing new works by women.
