Quickies is Live Girls! trademark event and longest running
program. Volume 9
will featurexciting new plays from
all over the country, plus two brand new
commissioned works from Seattle writers Kristina Sutherland and
Holly Arsenault.
Created with the simple idea of exposing audiences to as many
talented writers
as possible in one evening, Quickies features a wide variety of
new work.
From Krista KnightÕs absurd comedy about a 300 pound fourth grader
who
disrupts the laws of physics, to Allison MooreÕs haunting
exploration of the
nature of memory and Lia Romeos hilarious and surprising suburban
fantasy
about the price of security, Quickie has something for
everyone. As always,
Quickies includes up and coming local directors and actors as well
as tons of
gratuitous
entertainment in between the plays. It all adds up to a fantastic
